We are part of the Institute of Integrative Biology (IBZ) at ETH Zurich and Department of Aquatic Ecology (ECO) at Eawag. Our research interests focus on understanding the responses and adaptations of organisms to environmental stress and disease. Our current main projects focus (1) on interactive effects of climate change mediated thermal stress and other natural (parasites) and human induced stressors (chemical pollution) and (2) natural selection on host immune function in the wild. Our main study organism is the great pond snail (Lymnaea stagnalis).
